Quantitative Research

How to find out what people think

Traditional and Online Techniques

We use traditional and online quantitative  methods so that we can design a project to the recruitment profile and specific needs of a project.

Our team of researchers can complete projects across the UK whilst our online survey software can incorporate multiple languages enabling co-ordinated multi country studies.  We  have particular expertise in home placements, in-store intercept interviews and observation, hall tests and food product testing.

Quality Recruitment

To deliver accurate results the recruitment profile and sample needs to be well designed and respondents recruited who accurately match the profile and any specified quotas. We use our own  fieldwork team managed by experienced supervisors. This allows us to select the best individual for the job and monitor and measure their performance to deliver quality fieldwork every time. We can provide researchers with experience in running food testing halls , beer halls, car clinics, eye tracking, online hall tests, intercept interviews and placement panels. We have researchers who are trained to manage open ended questioning and discussion topics more suited for depth interviewing. We can also provide staff who are suited to observational and ethnographic studies. We can run studies across the UK.

Creative Survey Design

Online and traditional surveysWhen answering a research brief that requires a quantitative methodology we choose a method that will deliver the results and engage the respondent. Sometimes this may involve a combination of techniques for example we may combine a hall test or instore interviews with a smaller number of depth interviews to add a depth of insight to the quantitative data. In a category management project we may combine observation, eye tracking and intercept interviews.

For a project that requires a complex questionnaire or a tough recruitment profile or quotas we sometimes use an online survey conducted in a hall environment. By allowing the respondent to self complete the survey in a supervised environment we can improve throughput, build in complex conditional routing. Thanks to the design of our purpose built online software we provide an engaging experience for the respondent. Meanwhile our researchers concentrate on recruiting to tight quotas. An added benefit is the almost instant analysis which allows us to add in the option of mini depth interviews conducted at the same day based on the results.
